Gift from the Queen of England

During the Second World War, Ladenburg worked at the request of the British Secret Service, buying up Deutschmarks for the British Government, a job done so well and discreetly, that the Queen of England rewarded Ladenburg’s directors after the war with a handsome sterling silver cigar box, a curious and priceless memento.
